As any seasoned parent will know, we sometimes have to resort to hidden veggies in our meals, is sometimes essential to ensure that our kids are eating their daily requirement vitamins & minerals! This one is a new family favorite, as the kids have caught on but they still enjoy them – even neighborhood kids are asking to stay for dinner when I’m making them…
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Ground Turkey
- 2 stalks Broccoli
- 2 Large Peeled Carrots
- 1/2 Inch Slice Red Cabbage
- 1 small onion
- 2 tsp tsp Rock Salt
- 2 tsp Finely Chopped Garlic
- 1 tsp Fresh Parsley
- 1 tsp Fresh Basil
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil or Olive Oil

Instructions
- Place broccoli, red cabbage, peeled carrots, peeled onion in a food processor & grate until finely chopped. If you don't have a food processor, simply hand grate veggies on medium grate.
- Place all remaining ingredients into a bowl, and add grated veggies. Mix until all other ingredients are distributed throughout ground turkey meat
- Split mixture into 9 equal parts and shape into burger patties
- Heat Oil in a large skillet or ribbed iron pan, and place burgers into pan without touching. Depending upon size of pan you may need to do these in batches.
- Cook 3 minutes each side, or until cooked through. (repeat for each batch)
- These burgers work well for dinner, cold in lunches or as your protein at breakfast! Flexible fast and tasty - doesn't get better than that!
